On January 26th we celebrate World Environmental Education Day, whose main objective is to identify environmental problems both at a global and local level and to raise awareness among people and especially in governments regarding the need for participation. to conserve and protect the environment.
Environmental education is essential that not only raises awareness, but also modifies attitudes while providing new knowledge and criteria.
One of the main objectives of Environmental Education is to ensure that human beings understand the importance of the environment, as well as its complex interactions in both its biological and physical, social and cultural aspects.
Background:
This celebration has its origins in 1975, the year in which the International Seminar on Environmental Education was held in Belgrade (capital of the Republic of Serbia), where experts from more than 70 countries participated. In this event the principles of Environmental Education were established. As a result, the Belgrade Charter was published, which also sets out the fundamental goals and objectives of Environmental Education.
At B + F we recognize the importance of Environmental Education, which is why we have a group of experts who can support our clients and allies in the development of internal training programs focused on sustainability. This is how we reaffirm our commitment to actions aimed at a more sustainable future.
